It's My Lucky Day!
Updated: May 28, 2019
I consider myself very lucky because I live in a town where there is great coffee everywhere; especially at Lucky Goat.
I remember going to this small shop inside a storefront on occasion. It was called Lucky Goat and I would get an iced mocha, and then go to one of my brother's soccer games. Coffee was a new game for me because I was in my mid teen's and I never really got strong coffee. My parents on the other hand were practically coffee connoisseurs and loved trying out new things. But inside this small shop we built friendships and we witnessed the growth of the business.
Fast forward several years and they now have three locations, and supply many restaurants and companies with coffee beans that are roasted in-house. In fact, they not only supply the coffee but they take pride in providing great customer care, education, and even consulting! Now that's what I call a great business!
When I moved to Knoxville, TN from 2015 to 2018, Lucky G was one of the places I missed the most because their coffee is so distinct and delicious. There is something so memorable about their beans that when you drink a cup of their delicious joe you are automatically transported into a utopia of peace and love... and goats. Perhaps that could have been a dream. Nevertheless, their coffee is like a dream that you can never forget and I surely won't forget it. In fact, I probably go there 3-4 times a week to enjoy a nice iced latte in the Spring/Summer or a hot latte in the Fall/Winter.
Another thing I love about Lucky Goat are their amazing baristas! I especially love seeing everyone who works at the Market District because they are so friendly and inviting. They even know my order everytime I come in. That means they're either physic or perhaps I go there way too often. What am I talking about? I could never go there too much, even though my family would disagree.
If you live in the area, I HIGHLY recommend trying these guys out because they are absolutely fantastic. They have three locations: Market District, Capital Circle, and Midtown. They also have an online store for those of you who don't live in Tally where you can purchase their wide selection of coffee beans and other cool merch.
I think this goes without saying, but their mascot is a goat... Who doesn't love a cute goat! If you really want to go over the top, why don't you bring Lucky Goat coffee to your next Goat Yoga session? I'm just saying.
